Dream Dog

We've been living in apartments since leaving the midwest and now that we've settled here in Oregon, we have just started looking at houses. For Chloe, moving to a house means getting her own dog. After a long day of house hunting she presented me with these drawings of her ideal "girl-and-her-dog" life.

Small Marvel Beginnings

I got the idea to post Chloe's drawings about a year ago. We had just relocated to Oregon from the Midwest and she was having trouble being the new girl at school. The above strip tells the story, she is the one on the swing confronted by a pack of girls for standing up to a bully. She gets so frustrated and mad, she looses her lunch.
I love all the emotion she was able to convey in this quick sketch and I'm happy to report her school life is much more peaceful now.
